Farewell from the Colorado National Monument

I’m going to just say it.

Colorado is my favorite state so far.

I know it’s not nice to play favorites but, purple mountain majesty, she is beautiful!

That might explain why we were there for five months.

Yes, we’ve moved on.

But we didn’t go without Colorado giving us a glorious goodbye.

Visiting Colorado National Monument

Before crossing the state line to Utah, which very well be my second favorite state, we spent a day at the Colorado National Monument.

What a wonderful farewell!

About Jenn

I'm Jenn and I'm so happy you stopped by our little corner of the web. My favorite moments are cuddling with my boys, listening to the purrs of my cat, and sipping warm cups of tea. The smell of orange blossoms conjures up delightful memories of childhood even though I grew up in Indiana hundreds of miles from citrus groves. I love animals and when I'm stressed I dream of owning a goat farm. I love art, road trips, books, and food. Vintage clothes make me ridiculously happy. Red lipstick is my friend.

That’s our territory!! My husband(Brent!) and I were both raised in Grand Junction, CO and have been here for over 40 years. We are now feeling the desire to RV full time with our 7 and 2 year old, 1 dog, and 2 cats and see some new country. Your blogs and your whole lifestyle are an inspiration to us. So glad that you passed through our small town and enjoyed the surrounding beauty! Thanks again for sharing!
